Helene & Dave Roelands South West Wedding Photography

Helen and Dave were married in their backyard in Roelands, a quiet little town a few hours South of Perth. Helen wore a stunning detailed black and white dress and her bridal party carried amazing natural flora bouquets.

A very laid back wedding ceremony where their guests sat in a collection of green plastic and kitchen chairs – it was the atmosphere that buzzed with love and togetherness that meant the most! Living next to the local community hall meant that their reception was literally a 1 minute walk away – and all of their guests set their camper vans, tents and swags up in their back paddock! What an event!

Their I do’s we short, sweet and simple – yet the emotion was overflowing between such a happy couple! Wishing you both all the very best together <3

Elizabeth & Rohan Perth Backyard Wedding Photography

Elizabeth and Rohan were married in the backyard of their home surrounded by their loved ones (including their adorable pooch!)

Such a casual and laid back couple, it was all about the love during their ceremony which was spoken by the always lovely, friendly and bubbly Vanessa from Vanessa Wharton Celebrancy. Using an assortment of kitchen chairs for their guests and by sprucing up their backyard with a few marquees and string lights it was all they needed to swap their I do’s with each other!

After their ceremony and many, many hugs from loved ones, we snapped a few bridal portraits in their back yard but other than that it was all a very candid, natural wedding to capture! The perfect low key wedding! <3

Wishing you both all the future happiness together!

Rodger & Hannah Stingray Point Wedding Photography

Rodger and Hannah found me all the way from cool Ireland! After holidaying here they decided that they wanted to fly to sunny Perth to get married, what a journey! When Rodger proposed, he carved it into pumpkins – now that is dedication. Their little one Elsie-May picked up a cold and was jetlagged but was an absolute trooper on the day.

Surrounded by a very intimate group of friends they said their I Do’s on the jetty at Stingray Point Reserve in Mandurah with the sparkling blue water splashing around them! A short and sweet ceremony followed by a precious sand ceremony and a group prayer was all it needed to bond these 2 together. One of their guests accidentally dropped his sunglasses into the water so in they went to retrieve them – clothes and all!

After some photos under the beautiful shady tree, we made our way back to their rental house along the coast and over to the beach for a few more sunny blue bridal portraits. It was all summed up with drinks and a bbq in their backyard. What a beautiful, casual Aussie wedding these two Irish lovebirds had!

Thank you so much for choosing me from across the globe to be a part of your special day <3

Maud & Giorgio Stirk Park Kalamunda Wedding Photography

Maud and George were married in Stirk Park in Kalamunda surrounded by their nearest and dearest! The limo transporting Maud had a bit of difficulty getting down the slope with it’s low frame so it had to give up and park a bit further away! It didn’t damper spirits though and after a little longer walk, the ceremony was back on! A very sentimental and emotional ceremony, including the lighting of candles for loved ones not able to be present, and with a sand ceremony for all of their children – it was filled with love!

Such a happy couple, they could barely get their vows out for the emotion that overwhelmed them both but you could see in their beaming smiles just how excited they were to be becoming husband and wife. After the ceremony, lots of congratulation hugs and some photos around the grounds, we went back to the Rosebridge House Bed and Breakfast where they were staying, Maud got into a more comfortable and dance ready dress and we took a few more photos there! I took a moment to photograph their rings and wow are they impressive!

We finished up at the Kalamunda Hotel where their reception and guests were waiting – as well as 2 adorable little husband and bride teddy bears on their bridal table!

Wishing you both the absolute most happiness together <3
