Maud & Giorgio Stirk Park Kalamunda Wedding Photography

Maud and George were married in Stirk Park in Kalamunda surrounded by their nearest and dearest! The limo transporting Maud had a bit of difficulty getting down the slope with it’s low frame so it had to give up and park a bit further away! It didn’t damper spirits though and after a little longer walk, the ceremony was back on! A very sentimental and emotional ceremony, including the lighting of candles for loved ones not able to be present, and with a sand ceremony for all of their children – it was filled with love!

Such a happy couple, they could barely get their vows out for the emotion that overwhelmed them both but you could see in their beaming smiles just how excited they were to be becoming husband and wife. After the ceremony, lots of congratulation hugs and some photos around the grounds, we went back to the Rosebridge House Bed and Breakfast where they were staying, Maud got into a more comfortable and dance ready dress and we took a few more photos there! I took a moment to photograph their rings and wow are they impressive!

We finished up at the Kalamunda Hotel where their reception and guests were waiting – as well as 2 adorable little husband and bride teddy bears on their bridal table!

Wishing you both the absolute most happiness together <3

Camilla & Theo Federation Gardens Kalamunda Wedding Photography

Camilla and Theo were married in the Federation Gardens in Kalamunda. A popular place for dog walkers were weren’t short on furry visitors! Their wedding was very laid back and relaxed, with their wedding vehicle being their Jeep! Most of their day was DIY with Theo being an extremely handy gentleman! He even built their furniture from crates for their backyard reception.

Backlit by the beautiful golden afternoon sun, Camilla walked up the aisle arm in arm with her proud Father as Theo beamed at his beautiful bride to be! In their personalised vows to each other Camilla said “I promise to always cook you dinner, as long as you always wash the dishes” which is a perfect motto for a relationship. Side by side, sharing the jobs with one another so that both get their hands dirty! Their witnesses were kept a secret until the moment they were required to sign the paperwork, so it was a beautiful surprise to find out that they were a part of Camilla and Theo’s beautiful wedding day!

After bridal portraits around the park, we drove a few blocks back to their home which was set up perfectly to host a casual backyard get together! As the sun set, and the lights lit up the area, Camilla and Theo danced their first dance as a married couple – and with that I left them to enjoy the rest of their evening!

Caversham House Garden Wedding Photography Helen & Jason

Helen and Jason were married at the always incredible Caversham House in September 2017 in the lovely Garden House. The rain made an appearance (good luck I’m told!) so we had to move the ceremony indoors into the garden house however a little bit of precipitation didn’t dampen anyone’s spirits!

A love filled ceremony surrounded by their nearest and dearest, it was easy to feel the love between these two. The sun even made a brief appearance for our photo on the iconic staircase!

Colleen & Adam Watermans Bay Beach Wedding Photography

Colleen and Adam approached me to capture their wedding, they wanted a very casual, relaxed, happy and natural vibe so their venue was toes in the sand, water lapping at their heels at Watermans Bay! On the day of their wedding, Adam waited by the water for his beautiful bride to arrive, it was quite warm but there was an ocean breeze rolling in over the waiting guests to help keep them cool. Colleen arrived in a wonderful Vintage Combi with her bridesmaids. Rather than the standard white wedding dress, Colleen and her bridal party had opted for a Pocahontas’esque collection of different brown/tawn coloured dresses which added a very ethereal and forest children feeling to their beach side wedding!

Their celebrant, Garetti Ogilby, is someone who I have had the pleasure of working with at numerous weddings so it was lovely to work alongside her and her husband for another wedding! Always a very lovely experience!
