Claire & Dennis Woodloes Homestead Chapel Wedding Photography

Claire and Dennis were married in the beautiful Woodloes Homestead Chapel, I don’t do too many indoor weddings but this was such a stunning little brick chapel. After a little bit of trouble with putting the buttonhole flowers in there was a nervous wait for the bride who was fashionably late!
The chapel isn’t very big Claire’s wedding guests fit perfectly and was very homely! Being peak Summer it was quite warm but the grounds of the Woodloes Homestead is filled with amazing big leafy trees that provide shade over beautiful lawn areas.
After a beautiful ceremony inside, we did the bridal party and family photos out in the gardens, and then everyone shared a lovely cake that was made by Claire’s sister! Having been given a slice I can confirm it was very delicious!
Wishing you both all the very best in your future together!

Amanda & Lee Mantra Resort Bunbury Wedding Photography

It’s always such an honor when people I know ask me to capture their weddings and memories! Amanda is from the same country town as me which means that not only am I familiar with the couple and their story, but I also know a great deal of the guests which makes photos that bit easier knowing names and relationships!
Amanda and Lee had been engaged for what I recall around 10 years before they finally got married, in that time they had two beautiful little girls who were so proud of their parents, seeing the eldest cry happy tears, and the youngest beaming up at them was so precious and I love that they were old enough to witness it!
With the ceremony at the Mantra Resort in Bunbury, being mid summer and outdoor with no shade it was really quite hot but the ceremony was short and very sweet! The celebrant, Jenny Fisher from Jenny Fisher Marriage Celebrant was also a resident of the country town at one point so it was lovely to not only have another familiar face, but to be able to work alongside one to have a smooth wedding ceremony! The eldest daughter wrote a little poem about her parents love for fishing, which had the crowd laughing!
After the ceremony and a lot of congratulation hugs, the bridal party grabbed up some Coronas (it was a very hot day!) and off we went to a few different locations for the bridal party photographs. With such a fun and quirky group there were so many laughs and giggles from everyone and it was a very laid back and relaxed session, we finished up and returned back to the reception venue at Waters Edge Cafe & Restaurant (they have an amazing big function room and wonderful staff! And snapping lots of happy snaps of friends, family and the crowd enjoying themselves I put the camera down and joined in.
What an absolutely amazing day, with such a special commitment between two beautiful people and their darling children! Congratulations to you both and cheers to many more years! <3

Jade & Mitchell Wanneroo Botanical Garden Wedding Photography

Saturday 5th of December 2015 was the beautiful date that Jade and Mitchell committed their love for each other in front of their friends and family at the beautiful Wanneroo Botanic Gardens.

Jade arrived looking absolutely stunning in her Fathers beautiful old car! Her dress looked amazing among the vibrant and leafy walkways and staircases that lead down to the deck where their ceremony would be held. One of my favorite things during ceremonies is being able to capture the grooms face as his beloved enters, and Mitchell wasn’t able to stop a few tears of happiness as Jade came in to view! The ceremony itself was one of the longer ones I have photographed due to lots of readings from family, friends, and their celebrant who they have known for quite some time. It was a very happy, joyous and beautiful ceremony, with the emotion shared between Jade and Mitchell very obvious in their beautiful readings and vows!  One particularly special part was when the celebrant asked everyone to extend their hands to the couple as he read a reading, the visual was spectacular.

Their mothers lit the candle for them, and at the end of the ceremony Jade and Mitchell each released a live butterfly. One of which stayed around and rest on Jades dress for some time in to the bridal photos!  The weather had been iffy before hand but the rain stayed away for the ceremony and the bridal photos afterwards, and the sun came out!

Congratulations again to you both finding each other, and I wish you all the best in your many years to come <3

Nikki & Nathan Truck Wedding Photography

On Sunday the 27th of September 2015 I had the honour of photographing the wedding of a lady who looked after my father. I have known Nikki for a majority of my life so seeing her get married was such a special day!

Nikki wore a stunning red and white wedding dress, her bridesmaids wore beautiful black dresses, and her youngest daughter and flower girl wore a lovely white dress.

Nathan was a little unconventional and his “best man” was actually his sister!

For the grooms wedding vehicles they used the family owned “Miotti Transport” trucks. There was supposed to be 3 to transport the grooms party but after mechanical issues they were limited to only two! It still was spectacular seeing two big trucks rolling through the iconic Swan Valley to their venue of Caversham House!

Thank you both for allowing me to capture your special day and to spend your reception celebrating it with you! I wish you many happy years to come with your gorgeous (big!) family! <3
